The Atlas is the heavyweight of the group. Weighing over seven tones it is designed for heavy work on hard materials. Fitted with a 25kw (34 hp) spindle it can drill 60mm (2½”) holes in 400B+ material. With appropriate work holding fixtures it can also mill while still providing the full range of cutting marking etc. on common plate grades and thickness.

The system can process any plate or combination of plates up to 10m (30') wide and 50m (160') in length while maintaining high positional and part accuracy. It can be configured to have multiple work zones so that loading and unloading can take place while the machine is working on another plate. The system can handle plate from 6mm (¼") to 150mm (6") in thickness and can drill and bore holes from 5mm (¼") to 150mm (6") in diameter. It uses a high power plasma cutting torch for materials up to 32mm (1¼") and then conventional gas cutting above.
